I believe that recovery coaching is the part of the continuum of recovery services that will support individuals in their quest for long term wellness. This is an opportunity to spend time with like minded folk, to come together as a community, learn and share and to CELEBRATE Phil Valentine !!!!!

Cini Shaw

Cini Shaw MA, AADC, CASAC II, NCPRS, MATS is the proud mother of 5 children and has 4 wonderful grandchildren. She has been in recovery from an alcohol use disorder since 2011. Cini is an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a CCAR trained Recovery Coach and a Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator. She is the Chief Recovery Officer at The Lighthouse Recovery Services. Her responsibilities include coordination of all client care, recovery coaching services, family support services and group work to promote healing through multiple pathways. She partners with individuals and families to help them develop acceptance, empowerment, self- compassion and a sustainable recovery/wellness plan. Additionally, she serves as a Director on the Board of Liberation Programs, The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, and an advisor for the New Canaan Parent Support Group. She has trained extensively in Mindfulness Self-Compassion and believes it is one of the foundations of wellness and recovery. In addition to her work, Cini is committed to raising awareness about substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, reducing stigma and bringing multiple pathways of recovery to our communities.
