What is the Multiple Pathways of Recovery Conference?
Our goal is to share, with as many people as possible, the many pathways of recovery from drugs, alcohol, and other addictions. We do this with the help of amazing keynote speakers, workshops, hands on meetings, and networking opportunities.
Who is the organizer of the conference?
About CCAR: Since 1998 the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) has organized the recovery community (people in recovery, family members, friends and allies) to put a face on recovery and to provide recovery support services to help sustain recovery. By promoting recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction through advocacy, education and service, CCAR strives to end discrimination surrounding addiction and recovery, open new doors and remove barriers to recovery, maintain and sustain recovery regardless of the pathway, all the while ensuring that all people in recovery, and people seeking recovery, are treated with dignity and respect. CCAR envisions a world where the power, hope and healing of recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction is thoroughly understood and embraced.

Like the Charlotte Harbor Events Center, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all of our participants, speakers and staff. These protocols could certainly change as we get closer to May. -
Please practice social distancing
-
Utilize the sanitation stations provided
-
Only attend MPRC if you are symptom free of illness
-
Opt for a fist-bump instead of shaking hands or hugging
As we navigate this COVID-19 climate we ask for your help and understanding with these rules and expectations to help create a fun, memorable, yet SAFE environment for everyone involved.
